Montclair Center Stage Music Fest
Description: Come out and rock at Lackawanna Plaza this spring on Saturday, May 4th. With two stages and the best of local, indie music, this event brings a music-focused crowd to shop, eat and dance!
We are looking for food and cool vendors to help make this party a success!
The Pig & Prince will be the exclusive vendor of alcohol.
Gelotti is the exclusive vendor of ice cream and frozen treats.
We are NO longer accepting applications for ice cream/frozen treats, ribs/brisket, seafood or bath/soap vendors.

Table set up costs/Fees
- $0 - if bringing own tables, chairs, and/or tent
- $50 - 6 ft rectangular table, and two chairs rental
- $150 -10x10 tent, 6 ft rectangular table, 2 chairs (limited tents available)
Our staff will need to put your order in advance we will not have extras tents, tables, or chairs on the day of the event must put order in once you register.
What is needed: ALL VENDORS must fill the required and appropriate form with the Township of Montclair - please print all licenses needed & hand signed and emailed back to montclaircenter@montclaircenter.com. Please put "May 4th Vendor" in the subject line.

Montclair Center Stage Music Festival Features Free Music All Afternoon Saturday, May 5th.
Two Stages on Lackawanna Plaza Will Showcase All-Day Performances and Closing Performance by Hodera.
This year, Montclair Center Stage will kick off with a music festival on Saturday, May 5, from 12 pm - 8 pm on Lackawanna Plaza. The Montclair Center Stage Music Festival will celebrate the tradition of Montclair music with two stages of the best, emerging local talent and a special tribute to Montclair music legend John Finnegan. Bands will include Hodera, Tula Vera, Samad Savage, SMOCK, Wyland, Rockstar Racecar, School of Rock Montclair and Ava Otterbein. The event is free and will feature food, vendors and beer from the Pig & Prince. The rain date for the event will be Sunday, May 6.
“Center Stage has been a cornerstone of Montclair’s arts scene for years,” said Israel Cronk, executive director of the Montclair Center BID. “We are so proud to celebrate this great tradition with some of the best of our young talent.”
The Montclair Center Stage Music Festival is sponsored by Gelotti of Montclair and the Pig & Prince. Generous support has been provided Tacoria. Additional support has been provided by Villalobos, Sound on Sound studio, Pure Energy Hair Salon and East Side Mags.

One important element of the day will be a tribute to Montclair musician John Finnegan (1948-2011). A talented musician and performer, Finnegan played at numerous venues around town, including Center Stage, and was a driving force of support in building the robust music scene in Montclair. The day will also feature the four-piece band Mariachi Sol Mixteco to commemorate Cinco de Mayo.
Additional events include an ice-cream eating contest by Gelotti of Montclair at 4pm, live painting sponsored by Tacoria, Izabelle the Amazing acrobat and sugar skull face painting.
The Montclair Center BID is directly responsible for the music performances, beautification projects including plants and decorations, banners, wayfinding signage, the Crane Park Market, and maintenance throughout the district. Working with the Township, local utilities and services and its renowned Ambassador staff, it ensures that the downtown Montclair area is clean, bright and in excellent working order. By encouraging dynamic collaboration, the Montclair Center BID also creates exciting events for shoppers and tourists, marketing opportunities for retailers and restaurateurs, and actively seeks to improve the area for businesses and residents.
